Greetings! I haven't posted in forever, I was actually managing a new blog that's beauty/witchcraft related. Check it out here ! The Beauty Witch there you can find my beauty reviews, recommendations, rantings and also a host of spells, elixers and tonics for all your supernatural beauty needs.

I went to the Red Horse antique mall in Cleburne, TX recently. I couldn't help but notice all the creepy dolls and art5icles available in that store right now. Take a look at that clowns creepy AF. I might just go back for him, keep my kids in check if I had that thing. Makes me wonder if bringing antique items into your home runs the risk of a haunting? I do believe that energy can attach itself to items. But can souls and spirits? We have all seen Chucky and he's no good guy. Have you heard of Robert the doll? Here's some more pics of what I found at Red Horse Antique Mall.

Something about these guys gives me shivers.

Wicked Subscription boxes

Tamed Wild - December Box

So I decided that I would get myself a subscription box for Christmas, and since I already have a endless supply of cosmetics I decided that I would get something that I could " do" rather than wear.
Which also follows my new approach to living meaningful. Cratejoy is an awesome website and they had some pretty great deals going. You can find any kind of subscription box imaginable there.

After scouring through all kinds of wellness boxes, I decided that I could use something spiritual. There are TONS of different subscription boxes for meditation,Wicca and earth magic. One caught my eye and was only 20$ monthly...not bad. I mean if I get a box of junk at least I wouldn't have lost too much money right? So I ordered the December box from Tamed Wild.

I ordered it around the 15th and it came on Christmas Eve.Pretty nifty. The box itself is pretty cute and the contents this month were surprisingly high quality.

Inside was a satchel that contained some wax pellets in a cute vial a little melting spoon, some pine sage a nice corked bottle ,some dried flowers ,crystal shards and a pack of really nice herbal tea. There was also some parchment paper and a card that contained info and instructions for the ritual.

Anyway, worth the 20$ and I am excited to see what's in the January box!

Angels and devils among us...theres something very eerie about this angel statue in Rosehill Cemetery. I almost expected her to open her eyes, then I wondered why are they closed?

Old Foamy road Murders confirmed TRUE

I have been doing some research to see if any murders or bodies were ever in fact dumped or left in Old Foamy creek as some rumors and local stories suggested, I was shocked when I found this old newspaper article that detailed the murder of a wife and 5-month-old baby. The baby was dumped in Old Foamy creek by his father David Wayne Ingram 24, of Cleburne. The story details an account of which he and his wife had fought and she had demanded a divorce, he admittedly strangled her in drunken anger and then turned on the baby and smothered it. He stated that he put the baby who was still in his green sleeper suit, in a trash bag and he was tossed into the left side of the creek. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1980 but I haven’t been able to find any prison records of him.

Here is a clip
from the paper that mentions where the killer dumped the bodies. Where is the Ham creek bridge? That’s where he dumped Joyce’s body. This is all pretty creepy. Thinking of that poor baby floating in the creek I saw today, bundled up like a bag of garbage is saddening and haunting. Both mother and child are buried in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne.

After researching what was haunted in Cleburne Texas one afternoon out of boredom as I waited in line to pick up my son from school I realized something...I had accidentally driven down Old Foamy road before! So I had to go back. I went back this morning to check out Old Foamy road.

I actually found the tree tunnel to be very pretty and the creek itself as well.  Thinking back there were a couple of strange things that I noticed at the time. As I drove along the road, albeit lost but admiring the scenic drive I saw the corpse of a cat hanging from a barbed fence...all I could think was what kind of person does that to a pet? A car was coming so I couldn't stop to check it out despite my morbid curiosity and childlike reaction to poke it with a stick I kept driving. I did not know where I was and my cell service was low. I did get a little worried when I saw someone emerge from the woods wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled up. I told myself it was a teen and despite the Texas heat, looking cool or hiding was the only reason to have their hood up. It did make me nervous so I found my way to the main road and drove on home.

On my second trip to Old Foamy this morning I was looking for anything strange or out of place. Mainly I just noticed how pretty the road would have been if not littered with beer cans. I stopped at the bridge and took the photos of the creek that you can see to the left. It was calm and peaceful. I asked if there were any spirits there that would like to be known, or of the "Goat Man" was there. I heard a rustling in the trees, which I do not know what it was but it didn't appear to draw any closer so I didn't feel rushed to leave. I've read stories that bodies were found here, I haven't seen any actual proof that this happened so it's just a local urban legend. If anyone has any input on this or stories they would like to share please leave comments. One odd thing I did notice was a fresh pile of what appeared to be mulch and soil that had many mushrooms growing on top of it... my thought was that perhaps someone had buried an animal there recently, it was the kind of mulch you buy at Lowes for gardening. ( See Photo below) I didn't think I should disturb the ground. I also noticed some sort of graffiti on a rock that was in a smaller creek bed. It appears to say A +C  or Arc. I wish I had more information. I plan to research the history of the area and the possible murders in my upcoming posts.

Haunted Cleburne, TX

So, I moved to this little sleepy town called Cleburne, all too charming and cute. The downtown is full of antique shops and mom and pop café’s, which I admittedly love spending time in. This time of year, there are all sorts of outdoor flea markets and I have even seen some posters for Haunted houses (the man-made kind). I love rummaging these little treasure troves just as much as the next guy, although my taste in décor may not meet the local Betty Crocker standards I’m sure I'll manage some interesting finds. I’m all for promoting the local businesses as well as the local History which I am beginning to discover…is very haunted indeed.

I plan to do lots of digging, please subscribe to my posts and join me in my Haute Haunts and locale discoveries.
